Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be flexible to do the Open Hips Formula?
Absolutely not. In fact, this series is especially helpful if traditional hip-opening poses feel difficult or inaccessible. You’ll learn how to find a variation that works for your body instead of forcing yourself deeper.
I exercise regularly. Can this still help me?
Yes. You can walk, lift weights, run, play sports or practice yoga and still feel stiff through your hips and glutes. This series gives you a gentler way to explore the areas that feel restricted.
What if I can’t do deep hip-opening poses?
You don’t need to. There is no prize for going deeper. I’ll show you how support and different variations can help you find the intended area while staying comfortable enough to relax and breathe.
Do I need yoga equipment?
No. Props can be very helpful, but you can often use cushions, pillows, a wall or a chair. One of the practices is designed to be done while sitting in a chair.
What if I have hip, knee or lower-back problems?
If you have an injury, recent surgery or medical condition, follow the guidance of your healthcare professional. Never push through pain. The goal is to find a position appropriate for your body, not to copy mine.
